I’ll keep this brief because… well… talking about weddings is totally lame 😉
This was kind of why we were all here. Kind of. I had yet another Hen party/girly sleep over the night before, which was fun!
Organising the Wedding (via online chats!) was great, and so bloody cheap. We got picked up in a pair of sexy limo’s and taken to a chapel off the strip.
I was bricking it. Genuinely terrified. Me and Lynsey did some limbering up in the Bridal Suit and had a wee dance to take my mind off the nerves. It was the first time in my life that I had ever wore a dress or put makeup on. Yes, I know that’s a bit weird but it’s the truth. At least I managed to avoid falling over in huge high heels, as we were all wearing Converse. Score.
Our minister dude was hilarious. Think Joey off Friends with all the “having, and loving, and giving, and receiving” but older and more overtly american. He was the tits.
The reception was fun too, we got to have our first dance *gag* but neither of us can dance, so we just had a bit of fun. Also known as taking-the-piss.
In all seriousness, it was the best day of my life, and by far the scariest. After the wedding, we went home in the sexy limos back to “Paradise rd.” and took some more photos while we were all dressed up.
see, I kept it brief, as I know how lame it is looking at other people’s wedding photos. But I would highly recommend getting married in Vegas to anyone thinking about it. Thanks to everyone who came. It really meant the world!
